„On Like this“ is the new single by Pande. After his debut album „Speedrunning,“ the rotation of „Happier“ on FM4, a placement on Spotify’s biggest newcomer playlist „Fresh Finds,“ and sold-out debut shows, Pande releases his latest track: a danceable groove, distinctive 2000s indie guitars, and lyrics that hit the mark: „If you don’t wanna be with me, I can’t go on like this.“
„Dominik Pandelidis is living proof that a mustache can also stand for good music,“ VICE once wrote about Pande. In 2023, he returns with new music – without a mustache, but with a mature sound that gets straight to the point and subtly serves big emotions as well. Pande mixes influences from artists like the Pixies and Beck with the melodic sensibilities of Elliott Smith and Day Wave to create songs that feature grungy guitars as well as spherical synthesizers and vintage drums.
Pande writes, sings, and produces his own music. For his first album Speedrunning, he collaborated with old friends, a professional group of Viennese artists: Marco Kleebauer (Leyya, Sharktank) played and recorded the drums, while Johannes Eder (Catastrophe & Cure) and Lisa Reyer (le:la) contributed bass and keyboards to the EP’s live session. The EP’s visual design comes from Kevin Nowak, known for his work with musicians like Kytes or Florence Arman.
