Soda & Gomorra
Poison is behind every superficial silliness of Soda & Gomorra. Alexander Marković’s fractured English-German Dada lyrics create situations recognizable to all, gnawing pars pro toto at humanity. While Thomas Wirthensohn calls himself a karaoke trumpet player, drummer Mikal Maldoror, guitarist Filip Rački and bassist Tommy Jirku take metal, jazz or afro beats and rework them into an experimental punk format and Nenad Stankov pieces them together with drones or electronics. In the end, Soda Gomorra remains rough, loud and in free fall. (Originaltext in Deutsch, (c) Kristin Gruber)
