Martha Rose:
Martha Rose is an English musician living in Berlin. Her new solo album “Close to Close” was produced with and mixed by ET (Discovery Zone, John Moods) in Neukölln. The album uses sampled voices, water, flutes, and breathy synth sounds alongside drum machines and a collection of vintage Yamaha keyboards to create a minimal and intimate space.
This work is an organic and introspective meditation, which began over the lonely months of lockdown. Influenced by Daniel Johnston, Anna Domino, Laurie Anderson and Kate Bush, the album tenderly explores the almost-knowing of love, through an 80s outsider art pop lens.
The album mourns closeness gone cold and the quiet loss of unspoken intimacy, building a shrine around feelings and relationships that melt away into the night. Based on personal experience, mythical characters and abstract dreams, ‘Close to Close’ is a tender and defiant exploration of love.
  • „irresistibly hooky but there is keen intelligence afoot and the sense that Berlin may, one none-too-distant-day, be too small for her“ – Mojo
  • „It showcases the true versatility of Martha Rose, and her talent at engulfing the listener in a deeply personal album.“ – Narc Magazine
  • „There are albums that instantly grab the listener and ‘Close to Close’ is one of those.[…] an album that is incredibly attractive due to its bracing honesty together with an approach that swings from pure pop through to bewitching minimalism.“ – silentradio.co.uk
  • “Rose’s light, airy tones are mesmeric in their weightlessness, and her laconic honesty is just poetic enough to have you rooting for her as though she’s a character in a novel.” – Electronic Sound
Released on Mansions & Millions 31.05.2024

Dandy Deniz:
Dandy Deniz is the playground of Berlin based musician and producer Deniz
Winter in which the connections between fun, fear, love and sadness are cooked into something rich and pure. It’s a happy face with a heavy heart and an ocean of love. All coming together in a heart shaped box of wonderfully weird sounds and instruments. In his music emotions don’t exist separately but in concert creating a space where deep sadness and playful joy do not negate one another. In the pursuit of this exploration the music comes out as a colorful mix of fun pop, ballads and dance music.
