„Richly textured and expansive“ (The Wire)
An Infinity Room (AIR) is a project for multiple synthesizers that instigates deeply embodied ‘rooms within a rooms’ of perpetually shifting sonic energies, extending the long-tone work of La Monte Young, Phill Niblock, Eliane Radigue and Alvin Lucier. It draws upon a decade spent investigating the dynamic relationship between positive and negative space through the sculptural interplay of intersecting drones and complex harmonic aggregates, resulting in an evocative and transformative listening experience. AIR has played alongside Oval, Norman Westberg (Swans), Marina Rosenfeld and Josef Van Wissem at Tate Modern, Whitechapel Gallery, Café Oto, National Portrait Gallery London, Prague Quadrennial, Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, MONO (Institute of Modern Art), St Jerome’s Laneways Festival, Vivid and MONA FOMA. In 2016 AIR released its debut album White On White through Room 40/A Guide To Saints.
