The Czech bands The ashtrays and Apres vu are going on tour. We will be playing together with the Gardens in Vienna at club Rhiz On 8th of November.
/// The Ashtarys ///
The Ashtrays, a band born in the spirit of 50’s rock’n’roll, as a result of the search for a new sound that combines the spirit of the last century and the energy of today’s sound. Their debut album Go Cats is out in early November and is proof that rock’n’roll is not dead. This work represents a new rock’n’roll that sounds the way the band envisions it sounding today.
The energy at the concerts is so strong that it makes you forget all your worries. On the dance floor, you won’t be able to resist letting the rhythm take you away and leave a mark on your soul. The Ashtrays are the sound of the past and the future at the same time, and their show will show you that rock’n’roll has never stopped being a vibrant and pulsating genre.

/// Gardens ///
Gardens tell stories about failed adulthood with intimacy and directness, supported by rough guitars and smooth synths.
The songs allow a very intimate insight into psychological and interpersonal turbulences and go well below the surface. Musically, Gardens, with their mixture of indie folk and garage rock, might remind you of indie greats like Courtney Barnett, Wet Leg or Julia
Jacklin.
