Swutscher (GER) live
Calling the first own record “Wilde deutsche Prärie” and recording it in a construction trailer in the middle of the Pampa of Schleswig-Holstein – is there more vagabondism possible? Yes! When garage rock, chanson, country, swamp blues and polka come together and the whole thing is garnished with rough singing in the style of a dive. Finally they stick the Low German band name Swutscher on it, which means a kind of slovenly contemporary, and hit the intended nail pretty much on the head with it, staggering. Since then, the six-man band from the north has unabashedly set up humorous antitheses to the middle-class and upper-class milieu, song for song, in order to be able to counter bourgeois hypocrisy less with frustrated headaches and more with a confident smile. This is where fatalistic reflections take place between an ashtray and a beer before the next one is ordered. Somehow it has to go on.
ZweiLaster
ZweiLaster ist ein Punk-Duo aus Stuttgart-Nord, bestehend aus Ollenixxe an Schlagzeug und Gesang und ArnoArial an der Gitarre. Auf ihrem Album „Bellend Bin Ich Aufgewacht“ (Juli 2021, Butzen Records) wird eine Welt aus Ängsten und Zwängen, aber auch hingebungsvollen, abstrakten Charakteren beschrieben. Präsentiert wird dieses Universum mit trockenen Rhythmen und den salzigen, rotzigen Riffs von AK99. Man hört Ollenixxe über den „Mentalbreakdown“ singen, der auf sich warten lässt und den früher oder später jeden verrückt macht. Dann wieder geht es in AK99s Texten um Hundebesitzer, die ohne ihren Hund nicht weiter wüssten und es nur mit ihm in der grauen Welt aushalten.
